Barclays International (BI) Chief Information Security Office operates critical controls and works in partnership with the business to ensure our customers can trust Barclays to protect their sensitive information, and that the security of our critical infrastructure, staff, and assets is maintained. As part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cyber aligned regulatory requirements from our global and regional regulators. The team has oversight of regulatory activity, and works with functions across the bank, such as legal, compliance, control owners and regulatory relation to track and manage delivery of regulatory obligations, including exam responses, evidence tracking gathering, requirements analysis, and development of submission materials.

What will you be doing?

Management of all BI Cyber and Information Security related MI (including MI repositories).

Provide detailed analysis of MI, using a blend of both qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Oversight of control effectiveness within BI.

Represent BI across all Cyber and Information Security Standard Forums/Councils, providing feedback on the impact of changes to standards and controls

Act as the Barclays Control Framework (BCF) SME for BI, ensuring strong awareness / understanding of the BCF components are embedded in the wider team.

Design and deliver an Education & Awareness (E&A) program.

What we re looking for:

6+ years of experience with Risk and Data analysis/reporting.

5+ years of experience communicating, managing and remediating issues.

5+ years of experience working with Risk Management and Control principles, practices and techniques within a regulated risk environment.

5+ years interpreting various data sources, including technical and regulatory requirements and translating them into practical business requirements.

4+ years of experience in development and maintenance of MI & associated reporting suites relating to risk management and/or Cyber and Information Security up to and including Board Committee level.

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience with ORAC and DWB Waivers.

Broad knowledge and understanding of Cyber and Information Security.

Awareness of location specific regulatory and legislative requirements
